Preschool Christmas Party!

Today we continued talking about M for music as we sang christmas songs and played with various instruments!

We made our own maracas!

And we played our maracas and other instruments to music.

And of course if we're talking about music we have to dance!

Continuing our work with patterns, we made candy cane ornaments with beads.

The kids loved playing Christmas bingo!

...but they probably loved the Christmas snacks even more!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a blast in preschool learning all about the first thanksgiving!

We rolled a ball to each other and took turns talking about the things that we're grateful for.

We made a corn craft after talking about how the indians taught the pilgrims how to grow corn and other crops.

Playing in the Thanksgiving Feast sensory bin. :)

J is for Jobs

Our focus today was on J is for Jobs. We talked about all different kinds of community helpers and we talked about how everyone grows up and gets a job! It was fun hearing all of the kids talk about what they want to be when they grow up!

J is for Jellyfish

We talked all about jellyfish today!
The kids learned about the where jellyfish live, the parts of a jelly fish, and most importantly, that jellyfish starts with the letter J! We read the book "Peanut Butter and Jellyfish." And we also saw a slideshow of jellyfish and learned that they come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.

The craft for the day was this little paper plate jellyfish.

We made our own pretend jellyfish in a jar using a cut up grocery sack and some string!
